How do you want it to look in relation to your home? We go over each option along with costs so you know exactly what is included. Materials
We have found that homeowners like to know what material options are available, from the siding, roofing material, doors, windows and paint. We want you to understand the costs and benefits of each. For siding that lasts, we typically recommend Hardie fiber cement. It holds up to weather and resists rot and termites much better than wood. For paint we recommend Sherwin-Williams Emerald Rain Refresh.
Pricing
Pricing depends on the size and scope of the project. Below, you can see a 24x45-foot new garage build we completed. A project of this size will typically run in the $80k range total cost. A smaller garage will cost less. The size, site work, doors, windows, and materials all affect the total. We can assure you, however, that you will get transparent pricing the entire way.
Case Study
A homeowner in Perkiomenville needed a new garage after a tree fell on the old one and damaged it beyond repair. A mason we work with brought us in, and the homeowner wanted the new garage bigger than the old one. The old garage sat on a 24-by-24-foot pad. The new one is 24 by 45 feet, with two bays and nearly twice the floor space.
Brian drew up the plans with the homeowner, and gathered the required permits from the township. Construction started within a week. Our mason dug about 30 feet back into the hillside, as deep as 13 feet in places, to make room for the larger garage. Brian was on site for most of the day, every day, until the job was done.
We framed the walls, set prefabricated roof trusses and installed a made-to-order corrugated metal roof. The siding is James Hardie fiber cement with battens over every stud, finished with three coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Rain Refresh.
