Pricing
A hallway bathroom remodel starts at $19,500, and a primary bathroom is usually around $25,000. Those starting prices cover a room gutted to the studs and rebuilt with tile, a shower or tub, vanity, toilet, fixtures, lighting, paint and trim. Moving plumbing, choosing premium tile or glass, adding a bench or niche, or changing the layout affects the total. Shower-only and tub-only projects cost less.

Hall Bathroom Remodel in Ambler, PA
A young family in Ambler wanted to update their hall bathroom for their newborn. They wanted to bathe the baby without leaning over a deep tub, and they needed an easier way to wash the dog.
Brian laid out the options and found them a tub with a 12-inch wall and a 9-inch soaking depth. Kneel beside it and the edge sits near your waist instead of your chest, so you can bathe the baby or wash the dog without reaching over the side. We redid the whole room with a new tub, shower system, tile, vanity, toilet and exhaust fan. The walls and ceiling are painted in a satin finish that stands up to moisture, and the baseboard is set in silicone so water can’t creep underneath.
They asked for a shelf in the shower. Brian built a recessed niche with a tile shelf and mitered every edge. Each tile is cut at 45 degrees and set with a 1/16-inch joint filled with grout or silicone, so the tile wraps into the niche with crisp, clean corners. The remodel took just under two weeks and was priced at $19,500, our starting price for a hallway bathroom.
